Wellbeing is a process not a destination

Updated: Sep 30

It's about figuring out how YOU drive, what works for you.

Wellbeing is about creating balance among four key dimensions of health: social, physical, mental and emotional.

This is the basis for mindset cards and is derived from the model of Te Whare Tapa Whā, developed by Dr Mason Durie.

The tools and skills I have learned, and have compiled in these cards, have become building blocks that I can pull out, stack, reposition and reuse at varying times to help me create a sense of balance across these four dimensions in my life.

Life is always changing, so when there are periods where one of these dimensions feels out of balance or wobbly, I can choose exercises to focus my efforts on this area. This has been one of the greatest comforts for me as I needed to know I had ways to identify signs and a toolkit of resources to fall back on when I needed them.
